In general, this is a process to check with you the quality of the translation (English to Korean) of the questionnaire that has been prepared for the those who are going to participate in a clinical trial for newly developed study drugs.
In this process of telephone interview, we would like to check if you have any difficulty understanding the translated(localized) Korean version of the original questionnaire, and hear your opinion for improvement of the questionnaire in general.
Our estimate that the interview would take about Two hours and Twenty minutes, with some variation depending the circumstances of course.
And the interviews will proceeds as follows:
1. You receive by email NDA document and a document asking for your consent for the interview and recording. you print out the documents and sign them and email back to us the scanned file or photocopy of the documents.
2. You receive by email the translated Korean version of the questionnaire, print it out and fill out the questionnaire on your own as if you were the person who will participate in the clinical study.
3. While going through the questionnaire, you mark the parts with pencil or pen that you find difficult to understand, unidiomatic, or needs some improvement.
4. The interviewer call you at the prearranged time for the interview.
5. The interview may call you back if your further help is necessary, even though it is not common.
All the information and recordings (including the voice recording) provided throughout the process will be protected with anonymity and confidentiality and the competent laws. All the literal and voice recordings, therefore, will be kept anonymous and confidential.
But, for the sake of convenient execution of the interviews, the interview may ask your name and some relevant information.
The reason for the voice recording is to help the interviewer deliver your whole message.

Those who help us with this project will receive monetary remuneration.
We can allocate some of our budget as incentive and the recruiter or the interviewer will let you know the exact sum. And the sum will be deposited after the interview to the account you provided.
According to our experience, some of our respondents told us that the interviews provided a good opportunity to think about the disease from different perspective because of what other people said about it, a far from helping those who will participate in the clinical trial and fighting the disease itself.
